Week 3 has come to an end. There are only 2 more weeks left of placements, which i think will fly by.

This week was tough as both of my children were sick and one was up all of Tuesday night, vomiting, so going into placement on Wednesday I did so with no sleep and while feeling sick myself. I understand I should not be going in when I’m feeling sick, but we have been told we can only take 2 sick days and I’m trying to save those for any emergency that could arise in the following weeks.

We took more vital signs this week and had the opportunity to log them into the resident’s chart so that was quite an interesting learning opportunity. I hope we have more discussions and learning opportunities with both the RN and our CE. I feel that it is very valuable and just as important as having hands on learning.
